As we intrepidly launch our new blog / vlog to our already significant and ever growing* audience we thought it would be good time to lay down some of our founding principles behind the PrizeKing blog – our promise if you will, to you dear reader.
As mobile developers, we understand how important it is to rollout new software updates painlessly, respond to customer service tickets efficiently, fight the daily fires and generally do our best to impress the pants off of our new client partners (you heard me;) but also remember to keep our sense of humour about things.
As such we have determined that we shall do our very best to engage and entertain with our collective stream of consciousness.
We know the figures – a blog created every half second or so, so we’re under no illusions as to our standing in the blogosphere at this point. But we don’t aim to become the next leading Tech blog on the net BUT…
- We do see this as an important touchpoint for our clients and our end users
- We will frankly and fearlessly search out interesting and useful stuff for you as a bona fide publisher / developer / all conquering prizeKing
- We will do whatever it takes to get you this useful stuff by scouring the daily global press-ophere, blogosphere, twittersphere and covertly bugging that born-again christian guy with the megaphone on the corner
- We will also share cool tools and industry gossip along the way – stay tuned in coming months for exciting developments of our loyalty driven prizeKing payments platform
- We may also prod our MD and Senior Execs for some nuggets of wisdom from time to time – they really do have some great stories, but we’ve heard them all already. So we thought they could share with you.
- We may even indulge in some news about the excellent and engaging work we’re getting up to online and offline as well – if we’re feeling particularly modest that is.
- And of course – we will share the linklove with our favorite blogs, websites, newsletters and e-zines, many of whom have been generating engaging, insightful content for many years and are far better at it than we are (for the time being). These will including the legendary TechCrunch, Gizmodo, Engadget, Mashable etc or even the odd off kilter contributions from Boing Boing, The onion and so on… we could go on and on. Maybe another post eh?
